SPENCER NATHAN THAL, J.D.

Spencer Thal received his undergraduate degree in Jurisprudence from Oxford University in England, and his law degree from Columbia Law School in New York City. In 1992, he joined the law firm of Schwerin, Burns, Campbell & French. He represented several labor unions in all aspects of labor and employment law. Spencer joined the Teamsters Union as an in-house Staff Attorney for Local 117 in December of 1996. He successfully handled numerous arbitrations and lawsuits for Local 117. In 2015, he founded Vanguard Law to provide legal services to people seeking counsel in employment and personal injury cases. Spencer is rated "superb" (10 - highest rating) by the Avvo system developed by legal professionals and consumers. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, served as the Chairman of the Association's Labor and Employment Section, and is a member of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee.

Zachariah Thal, J.D.

Zachariah Thal is recently admitted attorney to the Washington State Bar Association after graduating from the the University of Washington School of Law. He has served as a legal intern for a Federal District Court Judge and has worked for the Civil Division of the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. He brings a passionate enthusiasm to Vanguard and is willing to work tirelessly for clients even when the fight is hard and the other side is equipped with corporate resources and power.
